Basic Usage

Now that Video DownloadHelper is installed, you can see a new icon in your browser's toolbar:

no detection

If you don't see it, it's probably just because you need to pin it.

The icon gets colored to indicate that some videos have been detected in the current tab:

media detected

When you click on the icon with videos detected in the current tab, a panel opens showing one or several entries:

Just click on the Download button:

You can change the name of the file before download (1 - pen icon), and choose a different format if available (2 - drop-down list):

Click the 3 dots on the right of "Download" to be offered a choice of alternative actions:
